I never got around to checking out Heroic Age at the fansub level, so maybe I'll make this the first time I watch any official streams. I'd read some bad reviews about HA, but I can't see myself completely hating something that shares so much with my favorite series.

I watched the first couple of HA eps on Hulu as I didn't follow fansubs on it either. I thought it was just weird. It gives me a little bit of a RahXephon vibe for some reason, though the main character in this show is pretty overpowered at the start, to a ridiculous degree. I generally don't like that sort of thing in a story, but the music seems good and there were some funny moments.
I plan to check out the next couple later today, but I kind of doubt this is one I'll really have a solid opinion on quickly. It has things I don't like and things I do like. It's not immediately impressive but it doesn't appear terrible either. |

Think of it as a take on the 12 trials of Hercules... Its done in a rather unique way.
The choices in voice actors is pretty good. I know that some had their thoughts about J. Michael Tatum being the voice of Age, but I think he's done a fantastic job and this really shows how vast his range is. I love the show. |
