Sad Dang, some anime is finally playing in Cali and I have to live 7 hours away. Why cant San Fransisco get some love? After all it has its own Japan town (where my cousin buys the crappiest animes ever lol ). And that would only be a 45 min drive. the closest thing ill probably ever get to see around here is Zac Efron singin and dancin in his arm slave.

How is the sound quality in this theater? Does it feature 5.1 surround sound or regular stereo sound?
I have been wanting to see Sky Crawlers and Eva for a while. Just wondering if its worth driving 2 hours just to see these movies even if the sound quality isn't that good.

im sure the sound quality is going to be that of any other theater.
Eva 1.0 is playing at the Laemmle Monica 4-plex
( http://www.laemmle.com/viewtheatre.php?thid=3 and http://www.jffla.org/films/evangelion-10)

sky crawlers is playing at the same theater ( http://www.jffla.org/films/the-sky-crawlers )

if you do go, better tell us how it was to see these on the big screen you lucky son of a gun. I would drive 2 hours to see these, but 7? aint gonna happen.

I hope for anyone's sake that they're using the HD version of Sky Crawlers at least. I think the visuals were really the best part of that movie.
