I actually wouldn't mind. At this point I'd rather see it leave the spotlight in disgrace like an utterly milked franchise that came to its demise due to losing all its fans, than a somewhat still loved franchise by a certain group of inexperienced anime fans.

I wouldn't be surprised if we never see Bleach return. I remember when Reborn ended, everyone just assumed it was returning after a year. But that series seems over now...

Just for clarification's sake, is this Gintama, Gintama', or is it a new title for the show? (For the new episodes, that is)

As the article states, it'll be called "Yorinuki Gintama-san".

read the article again :it mentions that gintama will air in addition to yoruniki gintama san, which will be about select anime episodes

Yorinuki Gintama-san was the name given to the reruns when they aired back in 2010. It makes sense that the new reruns would continue under the same name, but is not the name of the new content.

The last episode of Gintama' they stated that it was the last episode. Websites like animenewsnetwork also said it was over, but I knew after watching. over 250 episodes of Gintama and a movie I knew this series will never end. And im glad that this amazing series has finally came back to us Anime smile

Thursdays 6:00pm TV Tokyo. Say goodbye to Sket Dance.

They're still airing that thing? I don't see much merchandising value behind it, and I guess the TV ratings are bare minimum to stay alive.

Yes, that's one where increased sales of the volumes would be the main angle, unless a hockey stick manufacturer wants to back it.

That's why I wondered whether it might go on-again, off-again with Gintama, to help deal with the problem of Gintama catching up.

However, if they're going to be showing repeats sprinkled with new episodes, that can easily avoid catching up.

Great news!

Hopefully this will be streamed on Crunchyroll.

I wonder how will they broadcast new and reruns at the same time?

Maybe they will alternate with new and old or possibly randomize it.

But in the end as long as the spoiler[Ikkoku Keisei Arc] is animated I will be happy.
