Now that's what appeals to me about anime, that the detail is such, even the pros take it seriously.

This is really cool.
But isn't it slightly unrealistic for a first time beginner/ high school student to get a $2,000 guitar as their first one? Seriously, they all use some really nice, pro quality instruments. Not that I'm really complaining. I'm just jealous. |

Yes. But I can honestly say that of all the unrealistic things I've seen in anime to date, a high schooler getting an expensive guitar is one of the least unrealistic. |

True, but when most beginner/ high school students buy their first guitar they don't have the daughter of the music store chain's corporate president doing the bargaining for them.
