Indeed, I have yet to feel the urge to "buy" anything, and it's so hard to navigate it sometimes takes me forever to find the free stuff like "The Guild". Using Netflix on my Xbox already cancels out the need for me to buy anything in the marketplace.

What? No love for Tiffany Grant's fluent and accurate German?

What do you think will happen if she's not voicing Asuka in FUNi's dub? I for one want to see her go apeshit and tear down her Asuka shrine and cry and then threaten FUNi, but one can dream.

Um... what? Confused not sure wtf you're talking about, but anyway...

Yeah, ADV definitely needs to put some more sub love on there.

Because who knows, this may give them more profit to able to able to dub your precious best anime ever known as Clannad. And then you'd rescind all claims about ADV and kiss their feet like they were Jesus or something. Now that I think about it, I do hope they go back and re-dub Clannad.

Does the XBawks Marketplace offer other subbed material? It might just be a rule for stuff loaded on there.

A strong reason for not having a subbed only and a dub only option is that Xbox live offers no refunds and because if they did people could abuse the/have abused the system saying things like "Yeah I meant to download X subbed but downloaded the dubbed instead." Getting the refund they got their anime for free, so to prevent that no refunds and a strong case for only one, could they take time to format it in way for both on one download? Maybe, as I'm not 100% sure of what anime you can download now has that option.

(why this came into existence, sometimes certain games like say RockBand have DLC in packs and individual songs so there is the potential to buy a pack and then by a single that is also in the pack, no refunds for if you do so although there is a legitimate reason for doing that method of downloading both in that if you like the band but find that some of the songs weren't as fun as you thought they would be, delete the pack loose al the song, but if you bought them individually they stay. But pack are cheaper and work out to getting free songs if you use standard pricing when you buy larger packs like albums)

Anime fans tend to be jerks online. Forget them!
Yay ADV!
Thanks for saving Appleseed, which I own, but is way too awesome to go out of print, and something I think people'll be buying for a good long while.

Just Naruto, nothing else. Unless Pet Shop of Horrors is sub-only.

The XBOX marketplace can also act as a sampling mechanism. 160 ms points equals about $2 at most, not much wasted in checking out a couple eppys of something. But streaming is still a much better way.

Personally I want ADV to go back to putting their stuff on Netflix-Instant like how they were doing before their dive. And I really wish FUNi and Bandai would follow that idea as well, but things are still looking up, so I can't complain much at all.

I've owned all the VHS tapes, dvds, unrated dvds, and platinum dvds in my lifetime, and the second Appleseed film is available on Netflix, in Japanese (too bad the subtitles are at the edge of the damn screen). I don't need to buy anything from Xbox Live now with over 100 movies listed in Instant Play.

fudge, I don't even need to buy anything anymore.

Still, this could be good news for any new fans that have been living under a rock. And I still see their titles on Instant, just only 15 episodes for Air. (I know Funi licensed it, it's still there under ADV though; same with Pani Poni Dash and Utayaddayadda)
