Indeed. Though they still sell like hotcakes, from what I understand. |

Yep, there's a pretty rabid fan following for those things. I suppose if they were the only things I collected I could afford a few of them a year too. That's also quite a reasonable price (as far high end anime dolls go) considering they're supposed to be pretty limited. Compared to some other dolls that are somewhat more mass produced:
1/3 Yuki Nagato (about $490) 1/4 Ayanami Rei (about $400 in 1994) 1/3 Feena Fam Earthlight Doll (about $610) 60cm Akari Mizunashi Doll (about $810) Yeah... Emerje |

Figma instead of Revoltech, but here you go. YouTube search function = win. |

Oh man, that Akari one is absolutely adorable. But...it pains me to spend around $100 for one figure, never mind $800. It's probably a good thing for my wallet that it's discontinued. |

Sorry but I just think that Haruhi figure is horrible. the joints are really really visible and she just looks like she has eaten in months, the Yoko one has more discrete joints (maybe is the painting) and looks more realistically healthy... well as healthy as anime character can look.

No offense to people who like this figure but in my opinion it sucks
The limbs look unappealing along with the neck, i much prefer Figmas to Revoltech |
