Probably gonna have to drive to Chicago for this. It's about 3-3 1/2 hours, but for both movies it's worth it. Maybe I'll even package it with something else, and make a weekend out of it...
Magica on the big screen will be epic, though they are just compilation movies. One of the main reasons I want to go is to support it in the hopes that they do good across the country, and they'll bring the third, new content movie as well...

Even though it would be a 6 hour drive to New York from me, I'm kinda tempted to go. I probably won't, but the temptation is there.

Yeah, I'm heading to Chicago from Columbus; a good 5 hour drive. I'm gonna go with a couple friends to subsidize the trip and spend a weekend away as a "mini-vacation".
Though really it's just an excuse to WATCH MADOKA ON THE BIG SCREEN. I don't care if they're just recaps, I'm just excited that some chinese cartoon I like is coming HERE.

New York? Cool. I may have to watch these, but I want to see the series first.

In Chicago it's $20, so I'm assuming that's for both movies. I'm going to call the box office and make sure...
Edit: Yea it's both movies.
Sweet, I think I'm gonna order a ticket, and maybe one for my wife, but I don't know if she'll want to go or not. Can't wait!!

A word of warning for the Chicago show; I went to go see Eva 1.0 at the same theater and they had it playing in a VERY small room with a pretty small screen. Also every few minutes you could hear the heating system running during the film. With the theater only having 2 screens I would check with them which screen they have it playing on.

i was wrong. i though Chicago has no chance on another topic. I'm still not going to see it because that place is shit.
Little surprised that Seattle doesn't get it.

The Madoka Magica Facebook page confirms it's subtitled. Not that big of a surprise.

Yeah, the release of the English subbed trailer was rather telling.
We also get free gifts for going to the screenings *_*
