No release date is given, yet.

>>players use the DS stylus to poke and tickle and otherwise molest cutesy anime girls until they're disclosed their pacts with Beelzebub

Nothing about that sounds anything less than completely sucking awesome.

Anyway, greatly looking forward to the next Ico game since Shadow is one of my alltime favorites.

Trico looks interesting, though Colossus underwhelmed me with somewhat monotonous gameplay and a drab environment that even the Colossi could not compensate for. Oh well, Ico was interesting so I'll keep my eye and ears open for any news of it this week.

Wow, Colossus was underwheming after ICO? I was FINALLY able to play it for the first time, and beat it almost a week ago, and I adored it. I haven't had a chance to play ICO, yet-- I think asome gamestop less than 10 miles away might have it, though. Is it really that good?

Regarding the TRICO trailer for me, it was almost a WTF-reaction when that griffin-like creature first bursted out in full form, but after a few seconds, I came to adore it. Really, I don't see why any SOTC or ICO fans should have any reason to be upset with this (as I have on Kotaku). I hope that much hasn't changed significantly within the past year, aside from the needed graphical updates (and maybe a bit more of a harmonious look to the creature).

Ico was more puzzle-oriented than combat-oriented. Compared to SotC in which you have to find a way to get on the Colossi's back and strike its weak points, Ico's concept revolve around making your way through the numerous rooms of an old castle through solving puzzles--all while dragging some girl around and avoid her being captured by evil spirits.

The puzzles and adventure elements are brilliant. The combat on the other hand is kind of stale and some people might find protecting the girl frustrating and distracting from exploring the gorgeous environments.

Thanks for the clarification. I already knew of the general premise, and knew it was focused on platforming, but just wasn't sure how fun the actual gameplay might be be. I like me some good platforming and adventuring... I just didn't want the strong majority of the game's appeal be based soley on the "bond" between you and the npc girl that you have to escort though the whole game.

Back to the Tales name generator idea, I see. I, too, would love to see that. And who hated Colette??? I LIKED Collette. Sad

Any word on whether having a Riviera game pak will unlock anything in KitN? 'because I have Riviera for my GBA, but I JUST got Yggdra Union for PSP and am not looking forward to tracking down a GBA copy just for this.
