Renaming titles wouldn't really be a "first major decision." Though it is certainly one that matters.

The good guys at ADV and Sentai will make things difficult, so I'd license School Days instead.

Don't get me wrong, I do understand why someone from another region is still going to have to watch fansubs, since they can't get access to the streams.
But the thing is, a lot of the people complaining about those streams are complaining about streams that have subtitles that function properly, or come dubbed, and those people do live in North America, and therefore do have access to those streams. And they still gripe and refuse to watch the legal alternative to fansubs.
I just think my favourite complaint about those streams was that they couldn't burn them onto a DVD. I'd love to point out to those people that for a fee, you can in fact get those same shows already burnt onto a DVD. Wow!

License a bunch of old school stuff and release it over here, that's what I would do. Aim for the Ace, Kyojin No Hoshi, and Fist of the North Star.

Gotta agree with Conrad. Eureka Seven is my favorite series and if she doesn't like it then there is something wrong with her.
