well damn, I was hoping for something nearby or maybe something in Ohio at least (then my mom and I would have an excuse to go visit her best friend/my godmother and her family - and a place to crash for the night). but I guess I can understand why they're thinking a screening that limited is in order.

Okay okay...

Until recently, when it came to limited releases, Dallas used to be the furthest south a movie would be shown. Believe me, I'm happy that Houston is getting some love. I'm just not used to it.

Maybe it'll play during the Toronto Film Festival in the fall...

I'm dearly hoping they'll also have Eva 2.0 and First Squad...

Having seen the movie earlier this evening, I would encourage folks to make an effort to see it if playing regionally, as it did not disappoint... heck, it was even pretty good. Felt like what I would call a spaghetti wire-fu. The fx were used to proper effect, but still of laughably low quality, so I look forward to picking this up on Blu.
