That was great! I don't usually write, but I just smiled and laughed at this entire arc a second time.... I'm almost afraid to hope there might be more to come from crazy girl and her harem of zombie-like man-boys....

That made me think...maybe her hospital adventure can break her of her belief that's she's an anime character, and she can come back into Kevin's life as a sane girl that actually likes him. We can hope, right?

LOL! Just had to post - having once been a Fushigi Yuugi fan, I found this whole "arc" rather amusing, and as soon as I saw her ask for the plate, I knew what scene it was parodying, and I laughed.
Thank you for reminding me of my newbie anime days, lol. |

Agreed. Even if the creator of Astro Boy, Dragon Ball, Ranma 1/2 and HunterXHunter signed something, I'd pick the girl, provivded she wasn't crazy and was hot. But now that Kevin's best chance to date to beautiful, but mentally unstable woman is gone, all that is left is Nina. We'll see how this turns out. |

No way anyone would come back to life after plunging a ceramic plate shard to the heart, except zombiefication.

The way I see this continuing, Kevin is gonna have his Ultimate Mop Daisuke DX figure and a great big hole in his memory between "Yes." and "What happened?"
This is probably pretty much the end of this arc - a deranged otakin attempting to reproduce a moment from her series and nearly (if not actually) killing herself in the attempt is about as good a punchline as we can ask for. I suspect we've seen the last of "Miaka", though Kevin's gonna have some slightly dazed and confused questions that Nina and Paola are going to give some suitably evasive answers to. (Whether or not he takes the hint is up for grabs.) |
