So now that every 1st episode is out, these are the shows I'll be watching after dropping a couple:

Aikatsu!
Chuunibyou
Gintama'
Girls und Panzer
Hayate no Gotoku 3
Ixion Saga DT
K
Little Busters
Magi
Medaka Box Abnormal
I want to do my Brother
Robotic:Notes
Pet Girl of the Dorm
To Love Ru Darkness
My Little Monster

Its about the same I normally watch, but its still a pretty good season. Gintama, Chuunibyou and Little Busters are the best of the season so far. The ones I may drop if they don't get better are Aikatsu, Girls und Panzer and Ixion Saga DT.. everything else is pretty safe.

well, I liked The Idolmaster, and I enjoyed AKB0048 far more than I thought I would, so i figured I'd give Aikatsu! a shot. not sure what to think of it. i was a little thrown by a middle school girl becoming completely CGI.

If you rank My Little Monster that highly, you might still want to try the other shojo series as well.

Speaking of which, it seems that My Little Monster will only have 13 episodes? That's actually kinda sad. Same for Say "I Love You" apparently. Looks like these are really just intended to get people interested in the source material ...

Thats how nearly every anime adaption is. And neither one would really sell enough to be able to cover the costs of a 2 cour series, anyway.

Is it just me or... Do we need an entirely different forum to discuss Zac Bertschy's interpretations of the anime he reviews?

Eh...not really. You might have been right a year or two ago but at this point Zac's previews have ceased to be all that controversial. The people who normally get all bent out of shape over them seem to have more or less just given up and accepted that Zac is gonna do what he do. And as for those who like them...well there's not much to say besides to reiterate that they're funny.

Man, isn't this the rape season.

Continuing shows aside, my favourites are Magi, Code Breaker, Jojo, and My Little Monster, not in any specific order. Special mention to Magi for abusing my familiarity and nostalgia.

I believe I've given almost everything this season a fair chance.

Most boring award goes to Girls und Panzer.

And Btooom! is our season's prolonged sexless hentai.

Your reviews were really entertaining Zac. At this point I'm agreeing more with you than the others.

We must have watched different shows. Shonen? Yes, just like Death Note. Standard? No.

"Urobuchi's Sandbox" has to be Psycho-Pass and "From the Award-Winning Novel" has to be From The New World.
