The movie was just eye candy for those already in love with the series. It was just a re-hashed alternate universe retelling of the tv series, in the same vein as the Revolutionary Girl Utena movie, which I liked too.
Count me in as someone interested in it for Blu-ray. As to the tv series being on blu-ray... would there really be any difference in quality from the dvds? Anime series animated for the tv can only go so far in quality. |
