Robin really worked hard on this week's comic, the comic is so crisp and clean looking.
But sunblock is exceptionally important if one is staying outside for quite a while. Skin cancer is no laughing matter and if not treated right away, could cause serious health problems.
Well great job Robin, hopefully you are feeling better this week.

This vaguely reminds me of a class trip where the other students bought souvenirs and I went to Suncoast to buy anime.

Haha, this reminds me of those constant "You should get out more!" comments my parents made to me as a kid.

Endless Eight reference? |
Har har har. That's how most of us are spending this summer... |
HA! Although it is clever and annoying at the same time. If there was a mechine to erase our memories seeing the last Endless Eight then the experience of watching that episiode would give us a deja vu feel like Kyon.

That's true. The position of the sun in the final frame will require the parasol to be realigned if they wish to prevent direct sunlight being incident on the laptop.

SPF 40, which Myoopi appears to be in possession of, is a little excessive for my needs- the highest I ever needed to apply was 35 in the south of France. If the characters don't plan on going in the water, they could probably have opted for a lower factor.

I know I've watched anime on a portable DVD player on the deck of a lake cabin, so this isn't too far removed from reality. As for the power connection, I'm thinking they've got a generator hidden just off-panel

Ah, the beach episode. Love it.
Now they'll just have to go back to their hotel/ bath house for the night...

How very true. Even though I wouldn't necessarily take my laptop with me to the beach, if there's a slight chance that I might be able to use it where I'm going and I am allowed to take it, I most likely will.

Haha, this reminds me of the Knights of the Dinner Table (comic about a bunch of hardcore RPG-ers) comic where BA (the DM) made a bet with his group to see if they could go a whole weekend without gaming. At first, it seems they'll win, as they go out on a boat through a river, though Brian immediately starts pretending they're part of some fleet and the other campers' boats are enemy targets. However, Bob mentions he brought his gaming books ("just in case") and everyone else admits to taking their gear. They spot a picnic table, go ask other campers for paper/pen, and the rest is history.
Anyway, funny comic!

This one got a chuckle out of me.
Though why anyone would choose to watch anime over swimming in the ocean, bodysurfing, or playing beach volleyball is beyond me. Anime is what you watch at night after you're tired out from a day in the sun. I've been telling my friends for years that "it's not a true adventure unless you get wet."
