How is it "Two years late"? Index franchise is still as relevant as ever, and its JC Staffs 2nd best seller in their history, so its a great move to make a sequel.

Calm down. I know that the franchise is still popular. I find it funny when I go on sites and see people asking for a season 2, since for some reason I always felt like this show had a second season.

VERY happy with this news. I love the entire "Index" universe, including Railgun's side-stories. Been keeping up with the manga so Im happy to see a 2nd season green lit

just like Shakugan no Shana S

Fantastic. I was more of a fan of Railgun than Index as I feel that Index's stories tend to just get too unnecessarily complicated. Not to mention just how great Biribiri and Saten are.

don't worry, you are wrong. the website for the announcement specifically says "TV Anime" on it
