potato: That's a damn good deal, compared to what you'd pay for it in Japan. Plus, the Discotek DNA2 will have a better A/V job than the CPM version.

Man, they just got some cool stuff there! I might look into Sherlock hound. I'll admit I don't care about Fatal Fury though. I have no clue what Cybersix is, will have to look into that. But yes, Discotek just continues the awesome, they can't help themselves, can they?

I've seen a few episodes of Sherlock Hound and I enjoyed it. Perhaps I'll get the boxset.

But surely not everyone knows Discotek got this, I'd try and sell them asap, you might still get a fair penny for them (not on here though, ebay perhaps?)

@potatochobit
Well they seem to have it for the movie, no clue if they got the TV series first or are testing the water with the movie. Still, I think it would be wise of them to get the series. But since two different companies got rights for Space Adventure Cobra TV and movie, no clue. I wonder if Discotek, if they do have the series, would do a double release of dub only Cardcaptors and sub only original (I actually do have nostalgia for Cardcaptors, believe it or not, though it never convinced me for a second that Sakura wasn't the main).

They likely only have rights to that particular movie right now, no different from how they've only released several of the movies for Dr. Slump and Saint Seiya.

Actually, I'm not really all that put out since I'm not a re-seller. I just like the idea of having some titles that are valuable, especially when I myself didn't pay top dollar to get them.

It is good news for those who want to own the title and not pay OOP prices.

I get what you're saying. For example, while a rerelease of Card Captor Sakura would be great for everyone that doesn't have it, I do like to look upon my set with pride knowing I have it and a lot of people want it. Figures do this often enough too. You have a figure that's impossible to get at a decent price, and then the company goes back and does a rerelease. Makes it feel a little less special.
