On the bright side, Disney X D has some pretty good shows on it (Gargoyles, Digimon, Batman TAS) so i'm not that upset.

Viz is only releasing the DVDs in singles. No boxsets will be released. |

you guys are overreacting before it even airs what's to edit in shippuden because the anime gets edited from the manga anyway. I don't see the problem yet.

Yay, anime is gonna be on TV at a decent time(presumably) and will be shown to younger kids who will hopefully become anime fans. Pardon my optimism and ability to see the big picture.
Do you guys forget that DBZ was edited? Yea, that only sparked a generation of kids to show interest in anime (I say this as I raise my hand). Besides, Japan does the same thing. Show the edited version of TV and sell unedited DVD's. Princess Lover anyone?

First boxset in January. When I saw Disney XD i was shocked and thought for sure they'd edit it to hell, but who knows, we'll just have to wait for the first episode and see what happens. It's not like they're gonna go ahead of the DVD releases anyways. |

Nope he's right Tezuka was a big fan of Disney's work and adapted many of the stylistic elements. |
