I'm sad to say, wikipedia already states (sep 16, GMT 07 AM) that Usui was found dead. Hope the info is wrong, but if true, my condolencies for the family and for all the fans of his work.

I'm happy to say that since there's no confirmed source for that statement on Wikipedia, that I have deleted it from the article.

We can now resume hoping for the best until a more reliable source says otherwise.

Well, most other people would think hiking accident vs suicide.

I hope he's found safe.

Not exactly. I'd probably give them a few weeks of "secret vacation" before calling the police.

But well, people goes missing everyday and I won't feel like this is a special case. But then again, that's Japan, one of the safest countries in the world. Not counting the otaku stalkers of course.

A governor from South Carolina was missing for a few days and when he came back we found out he was in Argentina visiting his mistress.
