I had a feeling Triage X was going to be more of the same, given its pedigree from the minds behind High School of The Dead. At best I can call 'em what they are: trashy, horribly guilty fun, and little else.
As for Clockwork Angel: I wholeheartedly agree. On the one hand it was thanks to this adaptation that my interest was piqued in the series proper, but the comic itself became so irritating for me - both thematically clumsy and regarding its frustrating, sub-par art - that I could no longer stand it. |
