Well I guess that your referring to the fact that KissXSis was first released as an OAV special last Winter and also the fact that I've read the manga itself.

The manga isn't exactly full blown hentai. I mean it doesn't have alot of sex but I guess quite enough to qualfly it as hentai. It's sort of Goldenboy esce verging on being completely softcore porn having more story then sex. Maybe that's why the Encyclopedia has the manga rated mature instead of Adults Only. Trust me when I say it's still hentai.

spoiler[ While there are instances that Keita and his stepsisters engage in foreplay and sometime full sexual play] The manga itself focuses heavily on the story and writing rather then the sex.

Likelihood is it will - but probably not so much because of TV sensibilities but so they can sell more uncensored DVDs.

The chapters I have read (up to around Ch. 25) haven't contained any traces of sex. (And the pillow scene doesn't count in my opinion.) Unless something has happened after the point I specified...

In any case, good to hear that this is getting a TV series. It's been a good guilty pleasure for me manga-wise.

My comment of "what" referred to the manga being focused heavily on the "story and writing".

Here I thought this was just another ecchi quirky harem with no overall plot.

The manga I've read contains a small amount of sex. I was saying it has very little sex in it. Goldenboy also has little sex in it but it still is called a hentai manga.
