Yep, thats one of the reasons for making arguing over the internet irrelevant.
And the other one is that really, its in the eye of the beholder. For most of the later Shaft shows, you either instantly connect with the characters and use subconsciously the trademark artsy representation as a medium to further the experience, or you fail to do so and end up loathing the pretty obvious titillating marketing tricks that the studio uses to promote DVD/BD sales (shafts strategy is both very effective and lucrative). For me, I just love their works, and Bakomonogatari cannot be an exception. Looking forward to the next eps...
