Personally, I'd prefer Aoi Hana anime to be finished first.
Abrupt ending in the middle of nowhere wasn't such a great idea and with sales like Aoi Hana had, it's set in stone there will be no continuation of any kind, they even went as far as to cancel a preplanned drama CD mid-production. |

This is wonderful. I really enjoyed Aoi Hana (the anime) and I've heard so many great things about Takako's writing style that I'm also looking forward to a domestic release of Hourou Musuko manga. I don't know if I'm more excited by the fact that it was created by Takako Shimura or because its a story that takes a sincere, slice-of-life look at gender identity disorder.

I know I'm adding this as of late, but if 'Fantagraphics' is releasing this title then they should be the ones to release 'Aoi Hana'. As well as any other "yuri" works that are NOT mainstream. Since no one else is willing to do it.
Both of 'Takako Shimura's works are great and should be noticed. |
