Oh lordy. I've started looking at Gainax's Eva Store. There's even more insane merch since last time. I was telling a friend about the strip mahjong title from the late 90s or so. Then i saw some other crazy stuff.

This manga doesn't seem so bad in hindsight...

a cofee can holding eva character stored in a coffee can...It's like whoah... To be honest though, I've always wanted the Asuka mini-fridge.

My gf has the Asuka mini fridge. I've never been able to track down a Rei one.
You think the stuff on the store is crazy... it kinda is. I've seen $300 jeans... There was the two Rei/Lance guitars awhile back I really wanted, but not for the price they were sold at. Luckily they made $60 miniature replicas. Also, the life sized Lance was sold for some crazy amount awhile back. I've got a Longinus letter opener and earpick somewhere. If you guys think this Evangelion manga is bad (which I'm looking forward to this one... I liked Persona 3, but it got boring... 4 was a much needed improvement) then Detective Shinji is even worse... I like the idea but it sounds... wierd. I didn't care much for angelic days, and I wish they would finish the original manga. |
