Utena being my favorite anime for 10 years now (god it has been that long
 ) I was highly amused by this. I wanted to watch it with my girlfriends when we had TV night but didn't get around to it before everyone moved.

I know how you feel, I can't STAND being recommended series that are long out of print and impossible or highly expensive to acquire (legally). With Utena though I got lucky, I was able to get all 3 box sets a few years back at around $40-60 each new. A few months later, and getting it that cheap is no longer possible  .
Same with Steel Angel Kurumi, damn I got lucky with that one. |

I'm glad it referenced Utena, kinda nice to see an older series referenced.
I tried renting it off Netflix . . . I think the DVDs are being stolen from there. |

Revolutionary Girl Utena: the Movie, The Adolescence of Utena, and 39 episodes of the anime are presently listed at fansite [illegal fansub site]. I've been able to watch other forms of anime here without side effects from computer virus. I have never downloaded from this site so won't comment re outcome. You might try this site if you're still suffering from Utena withdrawal.

Next girls' night, Kevin shows up cosplaying Akio, and has sex with both of them. It really sucks that Utena is out of print right now. There's a remedy to this situation, and it rhymes with "abhorrent". Just make sure you're first in line when the super duper remastered version gets released here. |

OMG Kev turns down a night of zombie killin'?! It is simply unheard of to deny the urge to blast a horde of zombies! It's almost as unheard of as a girl's night Utena cosplay party... but I guess it could happen lol.
