new licenses always pique my interest, and this one is no exception.

I'll see what people have to say about the title closer to an actual release.

My first thought here was FINALLY, the fangirls should go rabid over this. Wonder if they'll try to stream the second season, probably not since that's not their style.

I was thinking the same thing.
I wonder who they'll cast for Sebastian?

Anyway, I'm happy that Funimation finally got the license to Kuroshitsuji ^-^

This is good news. I will buy this title.

(even though I wish it followed the manga a little bit more faithfully)

I watched a little bit of this and liked it until spoiler[the whole weird man-dog thing]. Does anyone know if it gets better after that, 'cause that was just too weird. I might be willing to get it if it does.

There was actually a rumor floating around that the title FUNimation was announcing would be Fire Tripper, an adaptation of a Rumiko Takahashi one-shot manga. Apparently it has essentially the same plot as Inuyasha, but with an actual ending.

While the licensing of Kuroshitsuji is great news for its many fans (and FUNi who will probably make a nice profit on the deal), now I'm kinda disappointed.

Haha.
No surprise.

I saw this license coming a mile away.
Great news though for the fans :]

There's a lot of filler after that, but it does get better. I really liked the arc afterward spoiler[with the creepy toy man who turns people into dolls]. Then there's that boring arc with the Indian Prince, and the conclusion with that spoiler[split-personality hermaphrodite angel].

Nice! Considering the manga's sales, they should do well with this. Yen's become a force to be reckoned with....

Hrm, Funi hasn't really licensed anything this year that has piqued my interest, though silverware battles sounds ridiculously awesome, I just might have to check this out. But the image posted makes me feel a little uneasy....

(says the guy that has magic girl shows in his collection.....)
