Ehhhhhh... It got repetitive during Advanced and after that... But at least there were still enjoyable characters around then...

Now it's just a kids show. I still enjoyed the movies too, but it was after that change in cast and whatnot that things went south.

Although the original Pokemon always will be the best, I wish they would re-release Pokemon uncut and uncensored, I stopped being a fan for a bit but after watching the Japanese version it seemed to target the same audience as other shonens like Naruto only without pervy jokes. I still can't get over how bad they butchered the first movie.

Yay Very Happy Misty! Rachael Lillis! My childhood is back. The hubby and I watched the Orange Islands marathon when it was on and lamented how much the show went into decline after the first season. This is so awesome.

Seriously though, I still pop in every once and a while every Saturday, but it's definitely lost it's charm. I think that's mostly due to changing the cast -which was a f*cking terrible idea- and I'm SO happy to be able to listen to Veronica, Rachel and Eric again.

I remember a couple weeks back CN ran some Orange Island episodes and I nearly cried because nostalgia was just overflowing in me. I guess that mini marathon scored some good ratings and they decided to throw it on Boomerang.

Oh yea, Misty's back. HELL YEAH! I feel the show began its decline when she left. That's just my opinion, though.

EDIT: Wait, are they not starting from the beginning? My DirceTV Guide says that "The Pokemon Water Wars" is the episode that'll be playing today, but that's episode 108. Did this start a while ago and we're not just hearing about it? Sure, they're only a few episode from the best battle (Orange Island Championship), but I was hoping it'd be from the beginning. Now that I think about it, that's where that mini marathon a few weeks back started....they're just continuing from there. Bastards.


The dub cast changed because the pokemon company no longer uses 4kids to dub the anime. The old cast were all 4kids voice actors, making them unuseable. On top of that meowth's voice actor died a while back. Sad

I'm in the holy crap I feel old group. I remember my friend and I in high school used to watch this all the time. It was so addicting even though we were all way to old for it.

Who's that Pokemon?
