damn, damn, damn...
well, now I'm officially in a funk... sliding towards a depression.

I guess I'll just have to be happy for all the throngs that timed their choice of con well, and seem to have hit the jackpot this year.

Having teh Rie there would have been even more epic, but news of Yui Horie and Eri Kitamura going has sent me into overdrive. Horie's been one of my favorite voice actresses for years now, right up there with Kana Ueda, Yukari Tamura, and Mai Nakahara. Kitamura has grown on me in recent years, for her work in Toradora, So Ra No Wo To, and most recently Angel Beats.

This will be an AX to remember; definitely one of the best in years.

And speaking of Toradora, I'll probably buy it at AX if if the DVD box set is a good price; it was one of my favorites of 08-09.

That's really what it feels like. I've never been to conventions aside from the ones where I've lived.

This year I finally decided to try a new one... and this is what I get?! I signed up back when I thought Konishi would be the biggest one attending. It's like I hit triple sevens. I thought it'd be safe to go to a big one, but I never imagined it'd be showered with so much win.

I'll think of you while I crowd surf with the innumerable Guests of Honor.

It's release date was set for the 6th. Is it a sure thing it'll be there? Does promote = sell...? I have it ordered online, but if it's gonna be on sale there I'll have to cancel and grab a copy to have it signed by Horieeee :3
