Wow, loved baccano, characters didn't look too interesting in Durarara although I haven't really given it a chance yet. Was planning to watch it anyways, but when I saw Kari I was excited, then when I saw Crispin I thought this is gonna be awesome! The reason they used to be in everything and now are not in much is because of the union they're in won't allow them to be in non-unionized shows which is like 90% of them (also why they were going to replace him as Alucard). So it makes me real happy when they get work.

I'm actually kind of interested in the dub now. Crispin Freeman is perfect for Shizuo.

Durarara is must buy for me. I just hope Aniplex doesn't limit it to the Bandai store only like the Gurren Lagann movies.

gods, I'd love to see him do an Izaya somewhat inspired by how he did Clair in Heat Guy J. alternately, he could probably pull off Shinra pretty well.

Oh no, the show is entirely ruined and worthless because of a miscast 15 second cameo.

I am happy bang zoom got this since I love almost all of there dubs, however I have to wonder if the guy they cast mikado will be able to handle the switch from minor supporting character to lead character.

Took the words right out of my mouth, comrade.
I didn't hear too much of Walgren using a deeper voice, but what I heard of her performance as Liz was very satisfying, so I'm getting REALLY excited now.
Freeman is a perfect fit for Shizuo. Sadly, I haven't heard any pf Guilbeau's performances, so I'll have to wait and see, but it seems like Aniplex is heading in all the right directions with this cast, so now I'm even more cautiously optimistic.

Sarcasm aside, I'm not pissed because of that - I'm pissed that they're too lazy to even attempt the 15 second cameo. If FUNI got an out-of-studio actor on another's request, Scott McNeil, then surely it's not so difficult to get Tatum and Glass to speak out a few lines.

Especially since the actors themselves love the roles so much. This is just laziness on the part of Bang Zoom and I'm afraid the rest of the quality of the dub might reflect that laziness.

If they got Kari and Crispin which means it's unionized, i doubt they'd be lazy with the dub... maybe Michael and Caitlin are just busy and don't feel like traveling out there for a minute or two.

Crispin as Shizzy-chan makes me want it...but I don't want to double dip when the Blu-Ray comes out...but the Blu-Ray may never come out if the DVD's don't sell well...Arrghhhh...
