You might want to note that it's different from the Demon Prince Enma OVA released by Bandai Visual U.S.A. a few years back.

Also, in the original 1973 version, Enma-kun was voiced by Masako Nozawa, who is probably best known for Tetsuro (Galaxy Express 999), Hiroshi Suzuishi/"Pidge" (Go Lion/Voltron), and of course, Son Goku (Dragon Ball/Z [and Kai]/GT). She was also the Japanese voice of Esteban in Taiyo no Ko Esteban (AKA: The Mysterious Cities of Gold).

Interesting. So does this mean they plan to animated series based the original manga or do a continuation of the updated version with newer chapters.
I have the first sets, wasn't easy to get them for a reasonable price. So maybe I'll take a look at them today. I'll also be looking forward to seeing what the new series brings as well. |
