Indeed! and heck, all the hate for a short lil 12 episode series made to promote a lesser known SRPG, C'mon. (seriously c'mon we all know a Paranoia Agent save will come eventually.) But yea, The games are Great! but the anime is a good way to get people interested in the franchise, same way a Transfromers toon gets the kids to buy the toys! Now if only someone would save the Manga & the Light Novels for Disgaea, I would be in Heaven! |

Because they expected it to be a carbon copy of the game, which it isn't. It goes and sorta does its own thing for a while in the middle. |

I never even knew this had a dub, i wouldve bought it earlier had i known. It wasnt the best thing ever, but it was a fun enough show for me, guess this is going to be my chance to pick it up.

When I first heard about Disgaea, I didn't know that it was originally a game. I kept hearing good things about it so I watched it and didn't find it anything special.
Apparently the games are supposed to be good, but I really don't want to play them. |

Add Special Edition (such as pin-up poster) to it as a bonus and I might consider getting it, otherwise, I won't since I already have those. :/

Well when I watch an anime I expect my favorite character to have the same personality he did in the game not the personality of Team Rocket. If you watched the anime you would think that Captain Gordon, and Jennifer where weak mororns. How can you take the Defender of the Earth storyline serious after what you saw Gordon do in the first few episodes. |

I third this complaint. Paranoia agent needs to be license rescued like yesterday. I also wouldn't mind seeing the 2nd season of the when they cry higurashi rescue they did awhile back, but I guess that's another rant for another time.... |

... If you ever take ANYTHING in the Disgaea series serious then you are missing the point. Everything in the series even stuff that supposed to be serious has non serious angles to it. For example Mao in Disgaea 3 hating his father seems to be a serious plot point until you find out the reason is because he dad took his games away. Honestly if you didn't like the show for the sole purpose of not being able to take a particular story arc seriously you are playing/watching the wrong game/anime. |
