Honestly, as glad as I am to see a sequel, I don't quite share your enthusiasm. The first one was more like 20 minutes of awesomeness and then 10 minutes where it felt like they ran out of time or money and had to cut the climax short. So I don't know. The first one did well enough to warrant a sequel, and hopefully it will also warrant a little better funding. It's definitely still disappointing to see this guy who clearly has some very interesting things to offer limited to another brief, self produced movie. I'd really rather see what he could do with 13 episodes and an actual staff to produce it. |
