This was already confirmed in a more recent post, by the way.
animenewsnetwork.com/news/2011-01-05/berserk-project-to-be-theatrical-film anime#12397 Apparently it'll be a project to adapt the "entire" manga, beginning with a theatrical film. The guy who runs their official Twitter account indicated that he, at least, doesn't yet know what form the rest of the project will take (e.g. could be a series of theatrical films like Kara no Kyoukai, or OVAs, or whatever). It sounds as if they might decide based on how well the first film does. |
