I am so importing this!

Unless of course one of you publishers in the US would like to release it here, too. Wink

Awesome. It's just a shame about the super generic cover design, which seems to be following the same template used by nearly all Asian or Asian-themed books that are published in the UK market.

This books needs to come out in English right now, if not sooner.

Not to derail the thread or anything, but has anyone here enjoyed translated Japanese literature before? I like Haruki Murakami's Hard Boiled Wonderland and The End of The World. Haibane Renmei fans take note, it heavily inspired that series and the End of The World segments (the book is divided between two parallel stories) feels almost like reading a novelization.

Hi Penguin_Factory, you might be interested to know that Salmonella Men has already been published in English in the USA! Only a handful of Tsutsui's books are available here. This is the first time I've heard of Paprika and The Girl Who Leapt Through Time being translated, and I'm very excited! From what I've seen of Tsutsui, his vision is very different from Kon or Hosoda's, but he's got an interesting imagination!

Just ordered Paprika and The Girl Who Leapt Through Time. I had no idea Paprika was even translated!

Penguin_Factory, taking of Murakami, I had already read most of Murakamis books, and had just finished watching Haibane Renmei before starting Hard Boiled Wonderland and The End of The World. Needless to say it's now my favourite book ever. Highly recommended and would love to see it become an Abe anime.

Seriously, when are we Yanks gonna get those editions, dammit? I can't even import without using a CC, and I don't have one, and can't afford one, either. Crying or Very sad

I would just keep an eye out on this page if I were you. Amazon are pretty good when it comes to books.
