If I recall correctly, there are 3 tracks, but actually the melody is pretty much the same. One is for the title BGM, one is for "a certain route" ending, and one for "another certain route" ending.
One is just music, one with gibberish lyrics, and one with actual lyrics.

It was simply because he retired from writing scenarios (though it looks like it didn't take him too long to start working on them again).
