@classicalzawa - It does not matter. I've been collecting the Kodansha versions, but if I remember correctly the artwork isn't different between the two. And I can always replace the DelRey version some day if I stumble across a cheap Kodansha.

Not strictly rare at the moment due to a reprint by viz (you rock viz) but I've finally pulled the trigger on jojo and bought vol.1 of stardust crusaders. One of the things putting me off was that it was part 3 but it looks like there is going to be the earlier parts released so with that in mind I've gone ahead.

^Tell me how Jojo is! I'm going to wait for a Viz sale on TRSI, I need to buy the remaining Slam Dunk I'm missing, might as well go all out (my comic shop gets new stuff but...)
@willag Yesterday's comic trip was not fruitful (for either of us), but I could've sworn my local B&Ns should have your Parasyte 8, so long as MSRP is ok. |

no point in me waiting on sales they dont happen here and importing costs rub out any savings i can get from buying overseas. Book depository used to have the occasional 10% off sale but then amazon bought them and the sales went away.

oh yeah just cant help be jealous when i see people get more manga for their money. I get what i can with what i have but im always looking to make it go further.

yeah i had to pay a little extra for the last couple of HSG volumes i needed. I only started getting it cos i saw the anime years back and still had that ED stuck in my head lol.

Speaking of Parasyte, I'm still trying to find a Del Rey copy of Vol. 3 that isn't $80+ dollars.
I'm starting to regret not getting Sugar Sugar Rune sooner, too. Some of those later volumes have gotten pretty expensive. |
