That just shows the lengths English dubbing has come in the last decade. VAs can go from doing stellar work on something like MLP: FiM to doing stellar work on something like Black Lagoon (or the other way around if you want to nitpick). |

One of the very few anime were I think the English dub is actually better than the original Japanese.
Can't wait for this! Just a real shame it has taken FUNi so long for such a short OVA series. A steelbook would have been great for a LE to go alongside the previous sereis, but unfortunately FUNi don't seem very interested in decent LE's these days. |

I second that. FINALLY!! Now I can finally add this to my collection. Glad that Funimation is doing a combo release. I guess we'll see a release sometime late summer or fall. I'm sure they'll announce it again at NYCC this year. |

Kinda late, this trailer came out a few days ago already. But anyway, glad they're finally bringing the remaining arc of BL, it took too long. It be nice if a 4th season ever comes out

On the strength of the original Geneon dub, I will be happy to purchase and import a copy, even if Funimation don't want me to possibly sample what the new dub is like beforehand. |

Well, I saw you justify your response in another thread but certain things are in order. Anyways, it's nice to see Vancouver isn't out of the game when it comes to serious anime recording, and that Funimation has a use for Ocean outside of alternative dubs for Dragon Ball. Which reminds me that I should probably finish up season 2 before Fan Expo Vancouver. |
