This man really deserved to live. Like many authors, he was a person who brought happiness and entertainment to many people throughout the world. I watched the animes last year to prepare for the final season and I really loved the charachters and the world he created, despite JC Staff ruining it. I was really hoping he would get to finish the novels (I read he still had two more volumes left) Very depressing news. He was a true fighter.

I remember watching ZnT with some friends, it's really sad he died since I know how much he wanted to live. he deserved to live, I guess we can only pray for his family now.

That's a shame a man that young passing. He must have been a hell of a guy to keep writing and trying to finish his work after falling sick. RIP and condolences to his loved ones.

RIP, a very sad day. But is better to die early then live with pain for years in a bed. Is what i think in these cases.
Thanks for all your work Noboru sensei.

I'm in two minds about this. On the one hand, he wrote a disgusting series with a horrible lead female. On the other hand, he battled cancer for two years and passed away at just forty-one years old, which is far too soon. So I'm glad that he won't be writing any more novels, but sad that he had to suffer and die (and cancer ain't a pleasant way to go).

Sad news indeed and a big loss.
Far too young to go at that age.
Can't believe some of the negative stuff some small minded people are writing here.
Obviously no value for human life or the LNs, which were miles better than the poorly adapted anime.

He wrote the following tweet in 2011:
"The 21st volume of Zero no Tsukaima novel will be delayed at least for two months. Please forgive me! Damn! I'll live on. I had been desperate, but I miraculously got an opportunity to take the operation. There is a possibility of survival. I really want to live."
He fought bravely.
RIP

Rest in Peace, Yamaguchi-sensei.
Zero no Tsukaima is what made me read Light Novels.
And still after all those years they are my favorites.
I've read every single one of his tweets since i heared about his illness.
I will love this man forever.
It's been a while since i had to cry like this. I can't put my feelings into words right now.
There was a nice comment on a japanese news site that roughly translates to:
"May he get on a Zero, and ascent to heaven."

A SIMPLE EULOGY:
Noboru Yamaguchi
(1972-2013)
"He has immersed us in worlds of a pink-haired magician and her familiar, a high school that has gone coeducational, and lady soldiers in pantsu flying and fighting an alien invader. These are worlds many anime and manga fans have appreciated throughout the years in many media, namely print, television, and film because of the wild ride each of these worlds brought about. And he lived these passions even when cancer was slowly claiming his body while finishing Zero no Tsukaima.
The tears of his passing will be temporary; but, in reference to the STRIKE WITCHES 2 opening theme, the magic of the smiles he's given manga and anime fans throughout the years with his creations will remain forever."
RIP, Yamaguchi-san.

I may not like FOZ anymore but this is pretty sad news. At least he got to finish the story like he wanted before the end though.
Rest in Peace.
