Definitely one of a kind. The contest will be up tomorrow, with pictures. IIRC, Geneon only had 100 wineglasses made, for promotional purposes.

I don't know about a shirt, but I would definitely buy a simple baseball cap with either the ANN or PA logo on it.

And "Akiba Alley" is a great name! I had suggested a merchandise column a while back in the PA forum which Chris said he would consider, never expected for it to go into motion so quickly (even if it is on ANN and not PA). So who's writing this and when can we expect the first column?

So, I have a question kinda semi-in regards to the Geneon panel: has anybody said for sure whether Hellsing Ultimate is just a sequel to the TV series, or a complete remake of Hellsing as a whole? Everywhere I look, I keep getting very mixed signals about that.

Also, for announcing it in mid-2005 and projecting a late 2006/early 2007 release, I'm certainly hoping they're putting some serious effort into Fate/stay night. I'm heavily anticipating this one, and I'd rather not see it get "Tsukihime'd," for lack of a better term.

Don't get me wrong, I actually enjoyed the Tsukihime TV series, though that's because I saw it before I really knew anything about who Type-Moon were or the inner-workings of their titles. With Fate/stay night, however, I'm a lot more aware of these things, and thus would be a lot more disappointed and agitated were it given a similar treatment to Tsukihime.

I was certainly disappointed on Friday night, after sitting through some episodes of Bleach (which, I'll admit, I liked), that it was announced they wouldn't be showing some of Hellsing Ultimate. A lot of people were also disappointed, but like me, weren't all that surprised it wasn't ready.

But now I'm waiting more anxiously than ever for it.
