Bump of Chicken
Their official website has been updated with, "BUMP OF CHICKEN is safe." (No, I don't read Japanese but that's the Babelfish translation of the title of the most recent Takahashi Diary entry and it seems straightforward enough to me.)

PLEASE just let me know that Kakifly is safe, and that KyoAni survived the tsunami...

I think Kyoto would have been spared the Tsunami. It's more Southern from the epicenter if I'm right.

i worried and would like to know if the ok?

To my knowledge Emura doesn't have any sort of twitter/facebook/blog which makes sense considering that "Emura" is a pen name and that she has a habit from disguising herself at fan events (she made a little author's note about wearing a blonde wig at a signing during W Juliet's print run). I guess the best bet is to look for the magazine she is currently affiliated with and see if there's any posting concerning her whereabouts and to wait?

Now I'm really worried about Nobuo Tobita. His hometown is in Ibaraki Prefecture and I think that area was hit with the tsunami.

Hey, anybody know if Natsuki Takaya is okay? My friend's worried about her, so if anyone knows anything, tell me.
And for myself, I'd like to know if Tetsuya Nomura is okay.
Glad to see that some people are alright, and hope things don't get worse. Let's hope for the best, everyone!

From what I heard, he lived near where the nuclear power plant was located, and my guess is that, if he's okay, he's probably been evacuated, and is probably lacking the resources to update us on his condition. I would hold out hope, though. Hopefully he'll update his blog in the next day or so.

I'm hearing rumors that Masashi Kishimoto might be dead and I'm really hoping these are trolls. I know people are also saying is is fine but there aren't any sources. I can't stop crying.

Can anyone give me a source to validate if he is alive? Please.

Anyone know if Koichi Mashimo is all right? I know my fellow fans would very much appreciate the news. I know I would! Crying or Very sad Do not see any twitter account under his name, no updates at his studio Bee Train's page and nothing at the site for their planned spring Anime Hyouge Mono.

Kishimoto appears at various sources as alive.
