"Rock the Dragon" edition? I thought he was Shenron, um Sheng Long...

Pros: Original nonofficial edit. A lot of junk was cut but not too much; "Snake Way" is a Dragon Ball style adventure without becoming a two million mile jog.

Chris Sabat isn't cast in every other role.

Classic corn in every way.

Includes the entire initial US broadcast plus movies.

Cons: This version doesn't end in the best of spots.

It's merely just another repackaging of a franchise that's had too many already.

The dub itself was never finished; For whatever reason, it continued past this point starting from the androids saga.

I still like the idea but I thought it would be cheaper. It's a nostalgia edition, extras and special packaging just get in the way.

EDIT: Oh, it's the canadian dub and domestic Broadcast version. That makes sense I guess, they never released that on DVD in the states I suppose. Goes back to what I said about nostalgia buyers lol

They actually did, here's my copy of the movies which i rebought a few months ago.

They also released the episodes through Pioneer in singles and in 2 box sets as seen here & here.

Dragon Ball Z: Rock the Dragon Edition

TRSI and Amazon have posted a new release date. It's now August 13th (was August 20th). So it moved up a week.

Laughing Good lord, how many different ways is Funi going to skin the Dragonball Z cat?

My thoughts exactly, I didn't even know they had more material out there to re-release again. But every time I think they can't possibly release it again...
Come to think of it, this isn't on Blu-ray, give them another 6 to 12 months, and they'll release this again remastered and on blu ray with like, three extra pages in the book and some post cards and some exclusive new bonus feature on the disc. You're welcome, Funi.

If it keeps makin em money, who cares? It's not like we have a contract with funimation that requires us to buy every new release of DBZ as it comes out Anime hyper

I like DBZ a lot, but sometimes I honestly wish it would just fade away for good, and perhaps let One Piece take over

ordered haganai and D x D
it says includes Fantasy Jiggles Unleashed 1-6, I'm a guess that means the extra episodes

not sure I will pick up guilty crown right away, a little pricey when both editions are purchased. Have not picked up shana season 2 or 3 either.

Those are the short specials. They don't have the OVA.
