You think I am a troll do you?

All you did with your post is prove cement works better as a driveway.

I'm glad to see some powerful groups behind the objection to the bill's overreaching attempt at stifling works unrelated to the true issue.

It's unfortunate governments think it's okay to draft bills behind closed doors then try to get them passed into laws as quickly as possible, leaving the public little time to have their say.

What's worse is the ruckus is over a draft, meaning there's a possibility the final version could be even worse.

Well in a democracy if people don't like their government they simply vote them out and vote in the one's who will go into this bill/law, should it get passed, and amend, or repeal it out of the statutes. Simples Wink

After reading though these posts I have seen comments I disagree with, but most I do agree with. I stand with the people against this bill, this bill should target actual CP instead of trying to lead a crusade against manga and anime saying it’s degrades the mental state of people. It’s also do brad and in saying that the prosecution is in the interpretation of the law. The thing that gets me the most frustrated is how can I help? Living in a different country I know may say doesn’t mean much to an international medium but what can I do to show my support to the artists, authors, and game developers that are trying to stand up and fight this bill.

I also noticed something that was missed if this law goes though, if it does most VN’s will disappear as well, say good bye to Kannon, Ef, Clannad, Song of Saya, and the like, because they will get lumped into the more explicit ones as well.

Don't worry, Cecilthedarkknight_234, I've already reported this bible thumping idiot (if he is one) to the mod.

get ready to be ban, you bible thumping SOB anime/manga hating troll. You're no longer welcome on this forum. If I see you again, you're going to get ban again no matter what.

Well, just have an unpopular opinion doesn't mean someone is breaking the rules. However, just saying "this is wrong cause I said and you're all evil for disagreeing" is certainly not contributing to the discussion.

If you want to make your case laser you're going to have to actually make a case outside of just saying "you're evil cause I said". Explain your position and why you perceive drawings to be as evil as images that actually represent someone being victimized. If your entire business here is just to tell people they're evil because you said so then yeah, you're coming across as a troll.

I love how loli-haters always ignore shotacon and act like only lolicon exists...even though shota is really popular in Japanese anime famdom especially among female fans.

But everyone knows women don't have sexuality Rolling Eyes

No we as a gender know women have it, but only up until they get married , get a job, and have a few children, (not necessarily in that order these days,) then it falls off the cliff. You got any brothers, or sisters? Anyway that's all academic as the title of the bill doesn't distinguish between gender. Laughing

Girl-looking shotas are usually made for hetero male consumption.

That's exactly why I said "girl-looking shotas" and not just "shotas." As in, lolis with dicks added.

Don't crush my dreams Q_Q

...Okay, I concede that, though I've seen some female Otokonoko fans.

Only in anime. Everyone knows if the guy touches the girl, he gets the crap beat out of him (and that's just on the elbow).

Oh my daughter wouldn't just concentrate on the elbow. No she'd break all his other extremities, with my blessing as well. Laughing

Not really. People as a whole are retarded. They will believe whatever lies the government spews as long as it sounds good. If this ever went to to the people, all they would be told is the real life proponents of making CP possession illegal and opponents would rather see children harmed or some such shit. This is what happens in politics. Children are always used as a shield and when they are, they usually succeed

California Prop 30 is an example I can think of off the top of my head. Prop 30 increased taxes on those making 250K a year (Making their individual state tax rate 13.5% and when coupled with Federal taxes, 52% of their income is taxed) as well as a sales tax increase. This money was to be sent to the General fund and was retroactive to 2012 (ie robbing people of taxes they weren't meant to pay).

The Lie: All the yes on 30 proponents said this, All the money would be sent to the classroom, for the children. It's a "Millionaire's" tax only (no mention of the sales tax increase) and the prop 30 money would not be touched by the legislature and would be audited.

The Truth: Most of the Prop 30 money was spent on salaries, pensions and other pointless spending and obligations, very little went to classrooms. The money was sent to the General fund, which means the Legislators do have their filthy hands on it. As a result, people are pissed because they are stupid.

Hell, look at everyone currently in politics. Very few are actually good people. Corruption drives politics and people buy into that corruption, that's why the same damn people get elected every time despite the fact that everyone paying attention hates them.
