That wouldn't bother me. If they rebooted the whole show I'd only buy the Jinchu DVDs.

I hope the announcement is a remake of the anime... with my luck it'll be about the next live action movie though. -_-
I'm not crazy about the art style for Restoration anyway. Oh well.

So it ends in Japan the day it is to begin (volume-wise) here in America?

One can only hope. They owe us a %$(@##$#&ing proper Jinchu arc!!! |
This 'nuff said. |
Damned right they do! You don't just let such an awesome series' anime end on filler notes!

I don't want a full anime remake, I only wish a Animated Jinchu Arc. a 24 Episodes Anime only focus in this Arc would be ok... Well, It's what I think... But, If it will be published in the magazine, it could be a new manga or info from the new movie or something...

They did it was called Samurai X: Reflections and it was garbage. Clearly the director has absolutely no interest in making Rurouni Kenshin he wants to make some crappy serious drama about Samurai doing "realistic" battles instead of a badass shonen series.
Kazhuhiro Furuhashi is clearly a good director but for whatever reason he can direct a really good Fatal Fury anime but Kenshin simply eludes him. He can only do Kenshin even decently when his following the manga to the letter as soon as he tries to do his own thing everything turns into crap.
So its clearly time to reboot the franchise get someone new on it, and do Kenshin properly for once.

More anime please! Either a remake of the original or a canon continuation would be great

I want either a Revenge Arc season or a remake devoid of filler. A live action sequel would be nice too. I miss Takeru and those kissable lips of his.

Maybe it was Watsuki's idea to have a Rurouni Kenshin with Yahiko, Tsubame and Yutaro as the leads. I wouldn't put hopes on a good anime adaptation considering what they did with the Kyoto films.
