Given the difficulty that some people at my anime club have in remembering and pronouncing "Fumoffu," I think it's safe to say that titles like "Saishuuheiki kanojo" are a bit much for the average non-Japanese-speaking anime fan. Besides, the Japanese themselves shorten a lot of titles, like Fruits Basket > Furuba, Kodomo no omocha > Kodocha.

Maybe they did that one because of the difficulty in remembering foreign phrases Very Happy
