I think the english ending theme was never used in the series, so maybe it's not really part of it, but rather of Kanon's regular releases. Did they even include the full length japanese version of the ending song?

Unless they include the whole Mini Soundtrack album "My Road - Songs from Guin Saga" ... I guess they won't include just one single song from it o.o;

The full version is played in the background of the final episode, and in one of the extras in the first volume (the premier special), there is about 2 minutes of her giving a live performance of it (as well as a piano performance of the opening orchestral theme).

I'm looking forward to watching this on The Anime Network, this genre is definitely lacking content when it comes to anime. I'm just concerned that with such a large and long source material the end will fall short or simply be left open which just annoys me to no end. With over a 100 volumes it's to be expected that the story won't conclude, but hopefully the ending to this series is satisfying rather then frustrating as I wouldn't mind adding it to my collection if there are so many extras.
