yeah we are discussing looking at naked cartoons oh wait you meant disgusting, gee try clarify next time. Also we don't know what series was removed it could have been strike witches, vivdread operation, dance in the vampire bund, yousga no sora, kodomo no jikan or moetan. |

The problem is not that they banned material with high sexual content, but the reasons behind the ban. Calling an anime or cartoon "child pornography" is akin to jailing someone for manslaughter or genocide just because he played a videogame and killed one, a thousand or a billion 2D humans. If law becomes so crooked the goverment can get away with just about anything. |

they are banning the genre in general? cause some hentai does display "young" in appearance characters.
but media does not necessarily dictate peoples behavior, in which case violent movies and video games should be banned as well, hell after playing soo many hours of gta3 i should not be allowed to drive period, (most of the time i was running over people for the fudge of it, and blowing up cars, shooting random people). |

Nope. it have only one word. STUPID!!!!!! With a capital S!!!! Seriously?? Not all hentai series have lolicon in them. Sure there are some like Chousuji , and yea i like that series and other lolicon type series as well, but not every single hentai series is child porn. their starting to act as bad as the US gov't when it comes to the otaku commmunity. though the japaneese govt have already earned the loathing of the otaku community and some manga creators thanks to that dumbass law the passed last year. |

From briefly searching on Google, I found Vkontakte compared to Facebook in terms of being a social networking site. I'm pretty sure a social networking site doesn't want to get in a fight with the Russian government over some cartoon pornography, so it was appropriate, regarding the law, to remove the videos. I'm sure the series in question is available on other websites...

And just what country is that? Because if you're talking about the US, you're one very naive person. Not only does the US have a law which can do the very same thing (PROTECT Act), but the NSA's love of every American citizen clearly shows rights are far from respected. Yeah, I went there.
