Yes, but then everytime someone sent him obstructive critiscism his head would blow up. Very Happy

P.S. If you still haven't found one in 8 years I'll be available.

Yeah...hehe, any good attorney's out there who will represent us for FREE. HAHAHA, I don't think there would be many taker's.

Most lawyers are a money grubbing lot, that's why they became lawyers in the first place. To ask for a free lawyer is like asking a grain of sand to never move, it does'nt work that way.

Yeah you're right Asakomi. There must be at least one or two lawyers out there with an interest in anime and a conscience.

I guess the concept of the Legal Aid Society, or pro-bono work is something a bit beyond you.

Not to mention the ACLU and other egotistical NGO's.

Actually, I've already had several good offers.

...

yeah, like that thing in MONSTER o_o

But they're not ALL like that...

we're stereotyping them if we assume these things...

... but seriously, I remember going for a checkup once and they charged me 20$ even though I didn't really DO anything there Confused

*could've been my fault though*

If that's the case, then may I suggest you take on 2-3 commentators to give different opinions if that? Sometimes the "law" can be interpreted in different ways, so there's a possibility that of differing conclusions to a particular legality as well as a thorough search on how both sides would take on an issue.

That said, I'm wondering about the danger that people will misinterpret these editorials as "free lawyer advice" or push people to use ANN as a legal reference when when they should be refering/hiring a lawyer. In other words, people saying "Well, the guys on ANN published this info, so it's OK to ..." or "ANN said this, so we can definitely sue ..." Maybe ANN should emphasize that they are only publishing editorial opinions and that if people want definite legal counseling that they should definitely hire to a lawyer first?

I wonder if that issue with those CDs is part of what's spurring on this request for having a legal advisor.
