That was the movie ending, as I understand it. The tv series ending had no crayon drawings, and very little recaps to speak of.


No, it was the TV ending, though pencil drawings may have been more accurate. The movie ending was just as screwed up, but they went the acid trip route in the ending.

Ah. I thought he was thinking of Death & Rebirth, and also that segment of EoE where it shows the morbid crayon drawings and colors rapid fire. The short bit of ep. 26 slipped my mind (teh one with the pencil drawn version of shinji).
