I would have to agree on this point. At least half the movies on the list I would consider awful. Yet they eat them up. |

You seem to forget that many of the anime that sell highly here are unsuccessful over there or considered weak. You're talking about 2 very different cultures and that while you see what comes from there as so great you have to understand that is a two way street as well, only over there it's live-action instead of animation.
