Made a couple of purchases off of eBay:
Kisses, Sighs, and Cherry Blossom Pink Time Stranger Kyoku Vols. 1-3 Already own Volume 2 of Kyoku, but for less than $9 to get the entire series it wasn't so bad doing a double purchase. Whichever one is the better version, I'll keep and probably just re-donate the other one. |

Decided to place an order under the Kodansha sale because I realized my Got Anime? membership was about to expire:
UQ Holder! Vol 1-6 (going into this blind, but Akamatsu's never let me down in 13+ years of buying manga) Fushigi Yuugi Omnibus 5 (maybe should've ordered this and V6 when I got 1-4 under the Viz sale, but the price difference isn't too high) From my estimates, I saved $82.81 with GA since April '17, after deducting the cost of the membership. So even at $18 instead of $12, it was still very much worthwhile. Will definitely renew before placing another order. According to their panel at Naka-Kon, there'll be another July TRSI birthday sale, so I'd better hope my wallet is ready 
Also signed up for HiDive to get their $3.99 for 2 years deal, which is actually the first legal streaming service I've ever subscribed to. |

I also now have a gap for Kuroko's Basketball, grr |

So thanks to a small pay bonus I got (jumped up a level at work), not buying much of anything else for myself, and my taxes I just filed I splurged a bit recently. So between sales at rightstuf and sales at my comic shop store I've gotten a nice manga pile and some graphic novels in the past 2 months. Just a few anime lately though.

Thought I was going to wait on renewing my Got Anime membership until July or so, but the Nozomi/Sunrise sale managed to force my hand:
Princess Nine DVD Tamayura ~ Hitotose DVD (unfortunate that it's DVD-only, and we might not ever get more of the franchise, but should be a worthwhile show anyway) Fantastic Detective Labyrinth DVD (is probably not that great, but hard to resist for $10.00) Sound of the Sky Blu-Ray (is unfortunately missing the previews for the 2nd half of the series, but the DVD Litebox is OOP -- missed my chance to get it for $10.50 during the Year-End clearance sale because I had a card expire between the time I placed the order and the time it was processed) Fushigi Yuugi Omnibus Vol.6 (completing this title, though I would've saved $2.68 if I'd ordered it all during the Viz sale) |

It's my birthday! So how do I celebrate? By buying a lot of manga!
Between 2nd & Charles (first time we've gone to one; worth going to again, even though it's pretty far away for us) and Half Price Books: Fairy Tail Vol. 24 (finishing that gap, one book at a time!) Suki Vol. 3 (finally finished this series) The Earl & The Fairy Vols. 1 + 3 Alice in the Country of Clover: March Hare Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle Character Guide 2 Rave Master Vols. 1-3 (been debating about getting it for awhile, and since it was cheap enough it was worth it) MARS Vol. 7 X Omnibus Vols. 1-3 Citrus Vol. 3 (another debated about series; this was on clearance for $3 so it was worth it for the bargain) Gakuen Polizi Vol. 2 (I see Vol. 1 a lot, but rarely this one) FLCL Vols. 1-2 (this is for the hubby, $2 a book too!) And from Walmart: Fairy Tail: Dragon Cry Blu-Ray/DVD Also bought a Hunter x Hunter magnet today as well. |
