I have Chainsaw Man volume 3 on preorder from Amazon. I really enjoyed the first volume, and the second volume kinda threw us a bunch of characters at once but was still good. From what I've heard it really picks up later in the series.

Not so much "What I just bought" so much as "What I'm not cancelling."

I signed up to HBO Max late last month to watch the new Wonder Woman movie.

I was about to cancel when I read that they will be premiering Earwig and the Witch, on Feb. 3

I have to admit, it's worth it just as long as the new theatrical movie being premiered that month and being simulcast on the service is something you want to watch.

A sigh of relief that my Paranoia Agent BD Steelcase + Pillow Funimation order came in.

They never sent me a shipping confirmation. The order never showed in the orders section, and, of course, when I tried to ask if they could give me a tracking number via a new support ticket, it was ignored... because they had already "answered" one support ticket (that ignored my actual issues) no others were accepted. email replies were unanswered and when I decided to try Chat I found that the help section for orders was closed.

Wow... avoid the Funimation Shop if you can. Absolutely horrendous.

Although they did send me a link to a survey to rate my experience... I didn't give all zeros, but it was close.

I hate to drag this out, but it really amazes me.

My support question, sent on December 21... was answered yesterday... January 27

Curious where you got those. I have many different LE sizes, and do they do that large NES size boxes.

@TarsTarkas got my stuff from:

Retroprotection
Final Fantasy VII Remake Deluxe Edition PS4 box.
Measurements are 17.8 x 14.1 x 4.6cm.
You can find it here on their website and here on ebay.
Some examples of what fits:
Cowboy Bebop Funimation LE Amazon version
Code Geass Funimation LE with artcards
Full Metal Panic! Invisible Victory Funimation LE
Star Blazers 2199 Funimation LE
Star Blazers 2202 Funimation LE with art cards

Also used this seller and this listing on ebay.

Title of listing: Blu-Ray 4K UHD Movie - OVERSIZED B - Clear Protective Box Protector Sleeve
The size is 17.65 x 14 x 3.4cm.
It comes in quantities of 1, 5, 10, 25 in different listings.
Some may be snug but fits stuff like:
Claymore UK LE
Eureka 7 LE Funimation
Noein LE Funimation
Shiki LE Funimation

Both sellers also list steelbook protectors.
Also Steelbook Central in the UK has a variety of sizez and ships international. Some of the prices are good but the shipping cost is high.

Another foray into the Amazon Marketplace to collect more old Gonzo titles:

Meltylancer DVD 1-2
Yukikaze* DVD 1-3
Samurai Girl Real Bout High School DVD 1-4 Collection
Blue Drop DVD (dual-language version)

* Not only were the single discs cheaper than the Anime Legends collection, they also include supplemental discs of extras that I presume didn't make it into the AL release.

About the only pre-2012 Gonzo titles that had US disc releases that I'm still missing are Special A (may be expensive if I want the dual-language version), Bokurano, My Bride is a Mermaid (hesitant to get this because of how Funi mangled the ED sequences), Gravion, and Gravion Zwei.

It may partially go towards my reselling side-hustle, but I do own a player, and at least one will go on a wall.

Tenchi Muyo! Ryo-Ohki
(OAV 2) LDs for eps. 9-12
An eBay seller shouldn't have done an auction on them, but I'm happy for the deal.
